ISC West 2024 — Megatrend Analysis: Proliferation of Security Sensors

The proliferation of security sensors is one of the megatrends identified by the Security Industry Association for 2023 with many companies showcasing unique products on the show floor. This roundtable discussion will look at the myriad selection of technologies available to the security practitioner today, identify use cases for them, and provide context for how to deploy them successfully. The focus on less commonly deployed technologies will inform industry stakeholders on up-and-coming solutions for mitigating risk and how to tie them into existing systems to improve outcomes. The discussion group will include different perspectives including a consultant, integrator, and manufacturer. Each will provide their “industry prediction” for the next best sensor technology and how it will change our industry.
